Chocolate Challenge Saturday, January 26th 2013 at 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Benefiting Pinnacle School and Learning Services Held at Pinnacle School - 2182 W. Industrial Park Dr., Bloomington, IN
Admission: FREE for attendees Chocolate Treat Challenge Entry: $10 Sculpture Competition: $25 for children; $50 for teens, and $100 for adults
New this year to the Week of Chocolate, guests will channel their inner creative genius and join in for a Chocolate Challenge of epic proportions! Enter the Chocolate Treat Challenge with your favorite cupcake, candy, fudge, or cookie creation. Adult, teen, and children’s categories with prizes, including the “People’s Choice Award”! Enjoy gourmet hot chocolate, coffees, and delectable delicacies from local chefs while cheering for your favorite Chocolate Sculptors! Similar to your favorite Food Network show, teams of 2-3 will compete to make the best chocolate and sugar sculptures with your favorite children's book as the theme. Sundaes on Saturday Saturday, January 26th 2013 at 1:00pm to 4:00pm Benefiting The Monroe County Historical Society, Inc. Held at the Monroe County History Center - 202 East 6th Street, Bloomington, IN 47408 Admission is the museum admission charge: Adults $2, Children age 6-17 $1, Members free. A FREE sundae will be given with museum admission. Each year the Monroe County History Center invites you to join them to design your own sundaes with Bruster’s Ice Cream and lots of chocolate toppings. Attendees will learn the history of ice cream making, and enjoy old-time music. The museum abounds with activities from Monroe County’s past. Guests can also be a part of the 1880's living history interpretations in the museum’s log cabin and one-room school. The Art of Chocolate Gala Sunday, January 27th 2013 at 6:30pm to 8:30pm Benefiting LIFEDesigns, Inc. (the result of an Options and Christole merger) Held at the Indiana University Art Museum - 1133 E. 7th Street, Bloomington, IN 47405 Admission is $50 per person. Tickets available at BCT Box Office. This year the 9th Annual Art of Chocolate Gala will be better than ever!The Art of Chocolate Gala is an elegant evening filled with decadent hors d'oeuvres and chocolate creations from the finest local chefs such as Sweet Grass, Scholar's Inn, Angel B's, KRC, IMU, Feast, Eagle Pointe, Joan's Caramels and more! Libations from Oliver and Malibu will also be served. Entertainment provided by the Keith McCutchen Jazz Band and Craig Brenner will fill the air with beautiful melodies while guests browse the silent auction and Juried Art Show. The world-famous IU Art Museum galleries will also be open for browsing. A raffle will be held and prizes will be given out to winners. Chocolate Bingo Monday, January 28th 2013 at 6:00pm to 10:00pm Benefiting the Bloomington Moose Lodge #1081 Held at the Bloomington Moose Lodge #1081 - 840 S. Cory Ln., Bloomington, IN 47403 Basic package was $25 The Moose Lodge is having it's annual special night of bingo, with a chocolate theme! With each winning bingo, the lucky players will be rewarded with cash and a delicious chocolate treat. As always, Bingo players enjoyed a scrumptious meal with drinks made to order. Friends and family, people of all ages are invited to come out to the Moose to experience Moose hospitality and play bingo to help a good cause! Making Truffles - CANCELLED! Tuesday, January 29th 2013 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm Benefiting Martha's House Admission fee is $45.00 per person Martha's House was a new participating agency in the Epicurean line up for the Week of Chocolate in 2012 and we are excited to have them back again in 2013! To add a wonderful dimension to the week's events the agency will host a class called "Making Truffles". The class includes preparing, dipping, and rolling truffles. Death by Chocolate Interactive Murder Mystery: Thursday, January 31th 2013 at 7:00pm to 9:00pm Benefiting Citizen Advocacy of South-Central Indiana, Inc. (CASCI) Held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church - 100 IN HWY 46 Bloomington, IN 47408 Admission is $17 per person or 2 for $30

Chocolate Prom: A Prom for Everyone Friday, February 1st 2013 at 8:00pm to 11:00pm Benefiting Rhino’s Held at Rhino's Youth Center and All-Ages Club - 331 S. Walnut St., Bloomington, IN 47401 Admission is $10 per person or $15 per couple Put on your best threads, grab your dancing shoes , invite all your friends, and bring your sweetheart to an event made especially for you. Wonka’s Chocolate Carnival Saturday, February 2nd 2013 at 3:00pm to 6:00pm Benefiting Amethyst House Held at the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington - 311 S. Lincoln St., Bloomington, IN 47401 Admission is $5 per person or $15 per family Come visit the Chocolate Carnival! Inspired by the movie “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”. Booths themed according to personalities of the movie characters will offer games, activities, and contests. Loads of chocolate delicacies including the chocolate river! An Art Sale Saturday, February 2nd 2013 at 10:00am to 4:00pm Benefiting LIFEDesigns, Inc. (the result of an Options and Christole merger) Held at Fountain Square Mall - 101 W. Kirkwood Ave., Bloomington, IN 47404 Admission is FREE to the general public. This year a new event is being added by LIFEDesigns to give local artists another chance to sell their artwork.
